"This experience has been amazing. My team really wants me to succeed. It's been challenging, but I have learned more in this internship than I could have learned passively in a classroom."
Titiana Tambi
2022 Student Intern
"I was challenged in my work, as I learned to tell stories with the insights I retrieved from the raw data sets. I also had the chance to meet other professionals in a variety of fields and I made connections that I will hold dear to me as I progress in my professional career."
Sakshi Jeena

"The internship program was phenomenal. I made great connections and had a chance to hone in on numerous skills from many of the workshops that were offered to us. I have loved getting to be a part of the close knit community here at Blue Cross. Not only did I meet great people, I got to be a part of the culture."
Briana Schwam
2022 Student Intern
"Being a part of the HR team specifically has been so eye-opening because I can first-hand see the resources and opportunities that the company gives associates. I truly feel that I have found a place within Blue Cross by joining Employee Resource Groups and attending all sessions that I can to truly immerse myself and take each opportunity to grow and learn more about the organization."
Ashleigh Cook
2022 Student Intern
"Interning with Blue Cross has been the best experience. I felt supported by my team, welcomed by everyone, and felt heard when voicing my opinions. Every person I met here truly cared about me as a person,
and I felt valued. The company environment here is one that encourages personal growth and allows their associates to thrive."
Norberto Alvarado
2022 Student Intern
"Interning at Blue Cross has given me the opportunity to apply the concepts I learned at university in an industry that I've been interested in since high school. My internship experience has been great both in terms of working with my team and in my daily work. My team has been incredibly supportive over the duration of my internship, and the work that I'm doing is both challenging and engaging, which is exactly what I was hoping for."
Ridge Gonzales
2022 Student Intern
"I definitely have a passion for people, especially hearing their unique stories and experiences. What appealed to me most was the culture of the company and the emphasis on inclusivity and diversity. I really enjoyed the volunteering and the free shirt as it really made me feel like a part of the Blue Cross community."
Erika Noda
2022 Student Intern
"I've learned so much about talent acquisition, diversity, equity & inclusion at the company. Building relationships with everyone has been really important to me. I would love to continue working here after graduation!"
Grace Barnhill

2022 Student Intern
"I have created great relationships with the other interns, whether that be getting lunch together when we are in person in the office or being placed in the same break out rooms during some of the intern sessions. I really enjoyed the mentoring group, which was a smaller group that met once a week where I really got to know the other interns."
JuanCarlos Curiel
Actuarial Analyst
2020 Student Intern
"Even though the experience was fully remote, the positivity and willingness to help from coworkers was palpable. When I was offered a position in the middle of my internship, I knew my coworkers were as excited to continue working with me as I was to continue working with them."
Monica Caley
Early Career Talent & Employer Branding Program Manager
2018 Student Intern
"Taking a risk on an internship outside of my intended discipline was the best move I ever made. I got to utilize my skills and education in a field it turns out I'm even more passionate about. Not only did my internship give me the foundation I needed to launch my career, but opportunities to give back and make an impact in my community."
Mahalet Kassa
Junior Software Developer
2018 Technical Apprentice
"I strongly recommend the [apprentice] program to early career professionals who are looking to transition into the corporate world. It's a great, structured program that allows people to navigate their career paths and invest in their interests by providing training and creating access to working on projects in the company."
